The floor plan allowed for Digitech's design team to locate the projector behind the screen in an adjacent mechanical room. Advantages to this sort of setup include greater control over lighting, a brighter screen image, and a lower noise floor in the room (no fan noise from the projector). There is a reason this theater adorns the background of our website. Behind the left and right panels surrounding the screen lay two massive B&W 802D speakers, powered by a 2x500W Rotel amplifier. Accompanied by the HTM2D center channel speaker, this system just may have the ability to reproduce the classic Maxell commercials of yesteryear. Signature 8 NT surround speakers are built into the wooden columns. This is what a reference quality system looks like. The Sony Qualia projector is a work of art, among other things. Speakers were combined with a back-box, which fits over the top of the speaker in the ceiling, enhancing sonic consistency and helping keep sound from bleeding into the rest of the home.
