The PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii have caught our nation’s youth and even our families by storm. Since the beginning of online gaming with the original Xbox and PlayStation II, Digitech has been providing ways for you to incorporate these systems into your home’s theater systems. This was primarily done by incorporating what we call a game plate into the corner of a theater room. This would include an Ethernet jack as well as a number of video interfaces, including HDMI and/or RGB connectors and composite video and audio jacks.
As demand for these gaming systems continues to rise, so does the passion of the gamers. Though we find the game plate solution to be the most common road taken, we are also now incorporating small network systems in single rooms with multiple displays and surround sound audio systems into dedicated “game rooms.” True passion, indeed!
